The governors at Hertford Vale support the school and the community through taking an active role in the life of the surrounding area.  They are an important part of daily school life and as a result know the school, the families in the community and they care what the outcomes are for the children in our school.  The governors support the school leaders in terms of providing challenge to ensure that all learners are given the best through high expectations and being up to date with current developments.

We encourage our governors to come into school and be part of the family and to engage with the children as often as possible.

Below are some photographs of our governors and children taking part in community and school based events.  Engineering, science, Remembrance services and community mornings are all part of how the governors support the school.
